Next stop, London and the royal wedding.

I'm sure most of us who watched the Royal wedding on April 29th, 2011 remember the flypast by a RAF SAR Sea King over the Mall and the royal newlyweds car. At the time the press believed the flypast came from the Duke of Cambridge's own SAR flight at RAF Valley in Wales. In reality it was flown by a Wattisham aircraft and crew, with Sqn Ldr Holly Steel, OC 'B' Flight, 22 Sqn in the captains seat. Photographed here on the actual day (note the airframe has been cleaned for once!) turning over the threshold of runway 23 at Wattisham and setting course for London.
